Free visits of the Esteban González Fishing Boat will be available this summer.

For those interested in boats, fishing, or those who simply want to spend a wonderful afternoon on a budget, you’re in luck. In the port of Santa Pola, completely free visits of the Esteban González Fishing Boat will be available all throughout July and August, with a reservation!
The fascinating tour will aim to simulate and teach about fishermen’s reality aboard these interesting vessels. It will show the most relevant fishing gear, particularly trawling, which is a method of fishing that involves throwing a large net to catch fish, and recreate the authentic and genuine life of fishermen aboard this vessel and others. It will also be a uniquely educational experience, as it will teach about the importance of fishing for the economic and social development of the municipality as a whole.
Interested visitors can reserve a spot on the tour by calling T. 965 416 223, during the opening hours of Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Sundays from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. There are a limited number of slots, so anyone interested should hurry before this golden opportunity is lost!
